Lyft is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern for Summer 2026 to support forecasting and reporting processes. This role is ideal for candidates pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting and offers hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a graduation date between December 2026 and Summer 2027. You are eager to learn and ready to contribute to a team that values collaboration and innovation. You thrive in environments where you can share your ideas and work closely with experienced financial analysts. You have a strong interest in financial planning and analysis, and you are excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Lyft drivers and passengers.
If you have prior internship experience in finance or accounting, that would be a plus, but it is not required. You should be comfortable working with numbers and have a basic understanding of financial concepts. A proactive attitude and willingness to ask questions will help you succeed in this role.
As an FP&A Intern at Lyft, you will participate in the monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting processes, providing valuable insights to stakeholders across the organization. You will engage in the month-end close process, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and timely. You will own your project, collaborating with team members to check in on progress and share updates. Additionally, you will partner with the Accounting team to manage close timelines and reporting, gaining hands-on experience in financial operations.
Lyft offers a supportive work environment where you can learn from top financial analysts in the industry. You will have the autonomy to take ownership of your projects while receiving guidance and mentorship from experienced team members. The hourly pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $39-$41, reflecting the value of your contributions and the skills you bring to the team. You will also have the opportunity to network with professionals in the finance field and gain insights into the financial decision-making processes that drive Lyft's success. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
