As the Software Development Engineer for Inclusive Experiences and Technology, you will be responsible for delivering the tools and processes required to deeply embed inclusion into Amazon’s process of building new products, services, and technology. The IXT strategy to move to a born inclusive-mental model will require this team to provide guidance to enable Amazon's product, engineering, user experience, and science teams to easily build inclusion into everything they create. The Born Inclusive model will improve the products used by Amazon employees at scale, as well as the broad and diverse customers Amazon serves around the world.

Key job responsibilities
You will own the front-end, back-end, or full stack design and development of product features, building scale, efficiency, and differentiated customer experiences.
You will deliver within a DevOps delivery model from scoping requirements, requirement analysis, design, development, test, CI/CD, security implementation, and operational excellence with the ability to work cross-functionally with Product Managers, business stakeholders and other tech teams through the actual launch of the project.
You will communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
