SpaceX is hiring a Receiving Specialist for the Starlink Materials Management team to manage the receiving, tracking, and staging of materials critical to satellite production. This role requires attention to detail and organizational skills.
You are detail-oriented and organized, with a strong ability to manage incoming materials and ensure they meet specifications. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of accuracy in tracking and staging components critical to production. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are comfortable using ERP systems to document and verify materials received.
Experience in materials management or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with inspection processes and documentation standards. You are eager to learn and grow within a cutting-edge technology company like SpaceX.
As a Receiving Specialist, you will acknowledge and take receipt of all incoming materials and packages, ensuring they are accurately identified in the ERP system. You will perform receiving inspection verification on incoming components, assemblies, and materials, checking for conformity with certifications and specifications. Your role will involve verifying all materials received against accompanying paperwork, ensuring that there are no discrepancies in part numbers and quantities. You will document any production non-conformance occurrences according to prescribed procedures, playing a vital role in maintaining quality standards within the Starlink project.
