Overview

MongoDB is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive focused on the Defense Health Agency to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a strategic approach to sales.

Who you are

You are a driven individual with a passion for new business acquisition and a proven track record in sales. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values innovation and collaboration. Your ability to build strong relationships with CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users sets you apart. You understand the importance of customer satisfaction and work closely with Solution Architects and Professional Services teams to achieve it. You are proactive in identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, and you have a strategic mindset that allows you to formulate and execute effective sales strategies.

Desirable

Experience in the federal sector, particularly with defense agencies, is a plus. Familiarity with MongoDB's technology and its applications in the enterprise space will help you succeed in this role. You are comfortable participating in sales enablement trainings and are eager to learn from some of the most successful sales leaders in the software industry.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy within your assigned territory, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition. You will proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline, strategically prospecting into key decision-makers within the Defense Health Agency. Building strong and effective relationships will be crucial, as you will partner with our Solution Architects and work closely with the Professional Services team to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also collaborate with enterprise ecosystem partner sales and channel partners to maximize deal sizes. Participation in our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp and ongoing training programs will equip you with the skills needed to excel in your role.
