Job Description

If you're interested in joining a rapidly growing team working to build unique, world-class technology experiences in the Media, Entertainment, Gaming, and Sports (MEGS) industry with a relentless focus on Data and AI solutions, you've come to the right place.

At Amazon Web Services (AWS) we are inventing the future of cloud computing with a team of builders who try new things and dream big dreams. We are seeking a leader in the Specialist Solutions Architect team who can help shape and deliver on our Data and AI cloud strategy for our MEGS customers and partners.

Within AWS, this position is a part of the Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist team, where you will lead GTM strategy for AWS' Data and AI services for Media, Entertainment, Gaming, and Sports customers. We create sales plays, leverage partners, and build new initiatives that drive results for our customers in the MEGS sector. We provide critical feedback from customers to inform our product roadmap, and work closely with our partner network to build an ecosystem supporting our customers' goals. In emerging areas, we play a critical role as the "first in" teams to build markets for new services, domains, or solutions.

As a senior leader on the team, you will use your strong management skills and experience selling technology solutions to coach, retain, and motivate a senior Solutions Architect team that works with C-Level clients to transform their business through Data and AI solutions. We need innovative leaders who can look beyond the technology and envision how AI and ML can create transformative value for MEGS customers. This is critical for the role. You will help team members ramp-up on AWS Data and AI services as well as develop speaking, writing, presentation, and executive interaction skills. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other departments within AWS such as our AI/ML services teams, marketing, and professional services teams, as well as representing your team to executive management.

The ideal candidate will possess both business acumen and deep technical knowledge in Data and AI that allows them to strategically engage at the executive level with MEGS customers and internal stakeholders. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a fast-moving strategy plan. Operational excellence is a key requirement for the role.

- Hire, on-board, coach, and develop new Solutions Architects specializing in Data and AI solutions
- Develop mechanisms and tools that enable fast engagement with MEGS customers and track key metrics and KPIs for your team
- Build and leverage relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to further the adoption of AWS Data and AI services in the MEGS market
- Lead a Customer Obsessed business that delights our MEGS customers and aids in their AI innovation journey
- Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and successful GTM strategies for Data and AI solutions
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge for AI/ML implementations amongst the AWS solutions architect community
- Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices for MEGS-specific AI solutions
- Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, AI service engineering teams and support
