Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 5 years of experience programming in JavaScript or TypeScript. Your background includes 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, along with 1 year of experience in software design and architecture. You are familiar with machine learning and large language models (LLMs), and you have a passion for developer tools that enhance productivity. A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields is preferred, as is experience with Google infrastructure and building scalable systems.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy participating in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on the best technologies. You have a strong understanding of the lifecycle of building products that increase developer productivity and are committed to delivering high-quality internal products. Your experience in Go adds to your versatility as a developer, and you are excited about the potential of AI to transform coding practices.

What you'll do

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Dev Mission Control UX team, you will be at the forefront of evolving Google’s internal development environment. Your role will involve building and integrating high-quality user experiences that leverage agentic AI, moving the developer experience from manual execution to high-level orchestration. You will work closely with a team that has deep expertise in coding and AI, contributing to the foundational elements that support Google’s flagship products.

You will participate in design reviews, provide feedback on code developed by other engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices in coding, including style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency. Your contributions will help shape the tools that empower Googlers to build software more effectively, ultimately transforming how development is approached within the organization.
