Overview

Roku is seeking a Workforce Compliance Specialist to ensure global compliance and optimize processes within the People Shared Services team. This role involves collaboration across various People functions and requires a strong understanding of compliance frameworks.

Who you are

You have a solid background in compliance and workforce management, ideally with experience in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is essential, as you will be partnering closely with other People functions to streamline communication and documentation. You understand the importance of compliance in a global context and are committed to ensuring that all processes meet regulatory standards. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to building scalable, tech-enabled solutions that enhance the employee lifecycle.

Desirable

Experience in a technology-driven company is a plus, as is familiarity with compliance software and tools. You may have a background in HR or People Operations, which would provide you with a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities within workforce compliance. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for optimizing processes will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As a Workforce Compliance Specialist at Roku, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our People Shared Services team operates within the legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to our global operations. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, conducting audits, and implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance standards. Your expertise will help us navigate complex compliance landscapes, ensuring that we meet all requirements while supporting our mission to connect consumers to the content they love.

You will collaborate with various teams, including Talent Operations, Onboarding, and Payroll, to ensure that compliance is integrated into all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This includes developing and delivering training programs to educate staff on compliance matters and best practices. You will also assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to compliance processes, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.

In addition, you will analyze compliance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights that will help shape our compliance strategy. Your role will involve staying informed about changes in regulations and industry standards, ensuring that Roku remains at the forefront of compliance best practices.
