In this role, you will build a new AWS service for a developer-focused experience. As a tier zero Amazon service our solutions have to be scalable, efficient, and available. You will deliver some of our most strategic technical projects, deliver large scalable systems, design new software systems at the cutting edge of AI technology and have a significant bottom-line impact on our business and competitive position. This position in the AWS Developer Experience team presents a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the product experience. A successful candidate will bring technical and software expertise, desire to have an industry wide impact and ability to work within a fast moving team to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact.

- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
