TheyDo is seeking a Legal Counsel to enhance their commercial contracting function. You'll collaborate with business teams and external counsel to streamline negotiations and support commercial deals. This role requires expertise in legal frameworks and contract management.
You are a legal professional with experience in commercial contracting, ideally with a background in technology or software industries. You understand the nuances of contract law and have a proven track record of supporting business teams in negotiations. You are detail-oriented and can identify potential legal risks while providing practical solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in contracting processes. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial contracting function at TheyDo. You will work closely with various business teams to understand their needs and provide legal guidance that aligns with the company's objectives. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients and partners, ensuring that all agreements are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. You will also develop and implement processes to streamline contract negotiations, making them more efficient and effective. Additionally, you will collaborate with external counsel when necessary, providing them with the context needed to support the company's legal needs. You will play a key role in building a legal framework that supports TheyDo's growth and helps mitigate risks associated with commercial agreements.
