About the role:

  • Render’s next Senior Technical Recruiter will play a critical role in scaling our Product, Engineering, and Design organizations with an emphasis on Product recruiting as your core focus.

  • You’ll work directly with leaders across Product, Engineering, and Design to hire world-class talent that shapes how millions of developers build and deploy software. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting across these domains, partner closely with hiring managers, and help evolve how Render attracts, evaluates, and closes exceptional candidates.

  • You’ll join a small, high-impact recruiting team where you’ll influence strategy, improve processes, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first touch to offer close.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle Product recruiting, partnering with our VP of Product to define, source, and close exceptional Product talent across multiple pipelines.

  • Drive searches secondary focus areas — including Data Science, Platform, Frontend, UX, and Brand Design roles.

  • Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers to scope roles, define success criteria, and align on hiring bar and process.

  • Champion a world-class candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects Render’s values of empathy, clarity, and respect.

  • Iterate on recruiting processes, interview rubrics, and documentation that scale as Render grows.

  • Build diverse pipelines and partner on inclusion strategies across Product, Engineering, and Design.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with People, Operations, and Brand to strengthen Render’s hiring identity and employer brand.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth technology companies.

  • Deep experience in Product recruiting with proven success at companies shipping heavily technical products.

  • Strong secondary experience in technical recruiting (Engineering, Data Science, UX, Product Design, etc.).

  • Ability to context switch between Product, Design, and Engineering while maintaining quality and focus.

  • Skilled at managing complex searches, influencing hiring decisions, and building consensus across teams.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a candidate-first mindset.

  • Empathetic, proactive partner to hiring managers; equally comfortable advising, coaching, and listening.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a startup or rapid scale environment.

  • A solutions-oriented mindset; capable of diagnosing bottlenecks and implementing scalable fixes.

  • Demonstrated success building diverse teams and inclusive processes.

  • A deep appreciation for developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or product-led growth companies.

  • Experience using recruiting systems like Ashby, Gem, Greenhouse, or Lever for pipeline analytics and insights.
