Overview

Asana is seeking an IT Network and Systems Engineer to manage corporate IT infrastructure, including network services and virtualization. You'll work primarily in the Warsaw office and require skills in Cisco and Linux.

You have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, with experience in overseeing network services and virtualization. Your technical expertise includes proficiency in Cisco and Linux, which you have utilized to implement and support on-premise IT systems. You are detail-oriented and enjoy collaborating with others to solve complex problems. You have a passion for technology and a proven history of success in IT roles, demonstrating your ability to adapt and learn continuously.

Desirable

Experience with cloud technologies and automation tools would be a plus, as you will be expected to propose and implement enhancements to improve performance and scalability. Familiarity with ITIL practices can also be beneficial in managing IT services effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage all aspects of Asana’s corporate IT infrastructure, from design to deployment. This includes overseeing network services, storage solutions, and virtualization operations. You will perform day-to-day support and administration tasks, which involve installation, configuration, monitoring, documentation, and automation of all IT infrastructure components. Your role will also require you to provide training and mentorship to users on the IT support team, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.

You will respond to tactical support escalations, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Continuous review of the internal IT infrastructure will be part of your responsibilities, where you will propose and implement enhancements that improve performance, reliability, and scalability as Asana grows globally. You will also support office expansion initiatives, which may require travel to different locations as needed.
