Klaviyo is hiring a Software Engineer II to work on Profiles, Identity, and Consent features. You'll tackle engineering challenges on a real-time data platform built on AWS, utilizing your skills in Java and JavaScript. This role requires a mid-level experience in software engineering.
You have a solid background in software engineering with experience in building scalable applications — you understand the intricacies of working with real-time data platforms and have a passion for tackling complex engineering problems. Experience with AWS is a plus, as you will be working on a platform built for massive scale. Familiarity with data processing and storage solutions will also be beneficial in this role.
In this role, you will be part of the Profiles, Identity, and Consent teams, responsible for processing and storing profile-related data. You will work closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of messaging channels and data warehousing solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing features that enhance the user experience and improve data accessibility. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the system, ensuring high performance and reliability. Collaboration is key, as you will engage with product managers and designers to align on project goals and deliverables. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
