Tanium is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead enterprise software sales and generate opportunities within assigned territories. You'll engage with C-suite executives and manage complex sales cycles, requiring significant experience in enterprise software sales.
You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with the biggest customers in the region. You are comfortable engaging with C-level executives, including CIOs and CISOs, and can articulate the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. You possess a strong team mentality, understanding that selling is a team sport at Tanium, where managing and utilizing virtual resources is essential for tackling large sales cycles. You have a proven track record of exceeding quotas and are adept at nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory.
Experience in conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads is a plus. Familiarity with Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting is also beneficial. You thrive in environments where collaboration with partner and marketing teams is crucial to define and support prospecting and sales efforts.
As the Director of Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Your role will involve nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory, presenting the value of the Tanium platform to the C-suite. You will work closely with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, ensuring healthy pipeline management through appropriate sales development activities. You will maintain excellent Salesforce hygiene and accurately forecast sales activities. Additionally, you will conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads and travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
