LaunchDarkly is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive customer acquisition and expansion. You'll work closely with sales engineers and manage customer relationships while utilizing platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role requires a strong sales orientation and customer focus.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a product-oriented and customer-focused individual with a strong sales background. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with managers and sales engineers to help customers successfully test, purchase, and adopt LaunchDarkly's platform. Your strong work ethic and creativity make you an ideal fit for our Mid Market Account Executive team. You have experience in qualifying and converting inbound leads rapidly, and you understand the importance of building relationships with existing customers to develop new opportunities. You are knowledgeable about third-party architectures such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, which allows you to effectively position and price our usage-based model. You are comfortable customizing and delivering demos alongside the Solutions Engineering team, and you consistently hit revenue targets while guiding customers through a successful adoption of our product.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for both net new acquisition and the expansion of current customers. You will qualify and convert inbound leads at a rapid pace, successfully prospecting into target accounts that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). You will articulate and sell the value of LaunchDarkly’s platform subscriptions, preparing for and running discovery sessions with new prospects to showcase our core use cases. You will gain an understanding of third-party architectures to accurately position and price our usage-based model, customizing and delivering demos with the Solutions Engineering team. Additionally, you will run proof of concepts for prospects and own the relationship with existing customers, demonstrating product usage and capabilities while developing new opportunities. You will consistently hit revenue targets and deliver customer feedback to our product and engineering teams, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our product and processes. Keeping all data in tools like Salesforce and Aviso will be part of your responsibilities as well.
