Schonfeld is seeking a P&L Valuations Analyst to support their discretionary macro & fixed income strategy. You'll work closely with the Front Office system and collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate P&L and fair value validation. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in financial reporting.
You have a strong background in finance, particularly in P&L valuations and reporting, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to perform independent price verification for various financial instruments. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for ensuring the accuracy of market data feeds, which is crucial for maintaining valuation integrity. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Portfolio Managers and other teams to facilitate timely decision-making. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including Trader Assistants and Operations, sets you apart. You are comfortable with technology and have experience using analytics tools to support your work.
Experience with Front Office systems, particularly Clarion, is a plus. Familiarity with fixed income and macro strategies will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team. A background in quantitative analysis or risk management can also be beneficial. You are proactive in identifying discrepancies and are skilled in building controls to highlight outliers in data.
In this role, you will own the intraday pricing, valuation, and P&L reporting processes, ensuring that all data is accurate and timely. You will act as the first line of defense for valuation integrity, enabling Portfolio Managers and Risk teams to make critical decisions during trading hours. Your responsibilities will include liaising with various teams to address trade amendments and corporate actions that affect valuations. You will also support the onboarding of new products and relevant market data feeds, ensuring that all necessary adjustments are made for accurate T+1 P&L reporting. Your work will involve tracking key performance indicators related to intraday P&L accuracy and reducing manual adjustments. You will collaborate with the T+1 P&L and Valuation team to ensure seamless reporting and adjustments.
Schonfeld offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $170,000, along with performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
