You possess a basic understanding of AWS infrastructure and how it supports global digital experiences. You are comfortable working with various systems, including diesel generators, UPSs, and three-phase electrical systems. What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of our data centers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. Your work will directly contribute to achieving our goal of 99.999% uptime, which is essential for powering global digital experiences.

You will conduct regular inspections and maintenance on mission-critical facilities, including stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems. Your expertise will be vital in operating and troubleshooting three-phase electrical systems, switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and cooling systems. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to address any operational challenges and implement solutions that enhance system performance.

In addition to hands-on technical work, you will participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and share insights on improving operational processes. You will also have opportunities to learn from experienced professionals in the field, gaining valuable knowledge about AWS infrastructure and data center management.
