You possess a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges, and you are comfortable working in physically demanding environments. You are capable of lifting and moving materials up to 40 pounds and can work in cramped or elevated locations for extended periods. You are ready to participate in an on-call rotation, demonstrating your commitment to ensuring the availability and reliability of data center operations.
As a Data Center Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the infrastructure that supports AWS services. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics to identify issues and executing physical repairs as needed. You will work closely with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to ensure that all equipment operates at peak performance, contributing to the overall success of AWS data centers. You will be involved in various tasks that require physical stamina, including standing and walking for up to 8 hours a day, bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
