Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to support AWS infrastructure. You'll assist in troubleshooting and managing facility operations while ensuring safety and security standards. This role requires familiarity with AWS and operational management.

You have a foundational understanding of AWS infrastructure and are ready to assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events. Your attention to detail ensures that you can perform rack installations and decommissioning effectively while managing operational readings and facility management tasks. You are comfortable working with contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with established practices and local legislation. Experience in data center operations or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems. You are open to learning and growing within the role, contributing to the team's success.
In this role, you will be involved in projects of moderate complexity, assisting in troubleshooting and ensuring that all operations meet internal Service Level Agreements (SLA). You will perform essential tasks such as rack installations and decommissioning, operational readings, and facility management. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the performance of maintenance and operations on all electrical and mechanical systems, providing key performance indicators to senior engineers, and managing on-site contractors and vendors. You will collaborate with a diverse team to solve complex problems and ensure that AWS data centers operate smoothly and efficiently.
