Overview

DoorDash is seeking an IT Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the internal supply chain service. You'll manage procurement, logistics, and device deployment while collaborating with various internal teams. This role requires strong operational leadership skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in supply chain management and operational leadership, with experience overseeing daily execution of supply chain functions such as procurement, logistics, and warehousing. You understand the importance of developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across all service lines. You are adept at monitoring performance metrics and leading problem resolution when disruptions occur, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

You excel in stakeholder partnership, acting as the primary interface between supply chain operations and internal organizations. You gather business requirements and translate them into actionable operational plans, ensuring that each partner's needs are met with clear service level agreements (SLAs) and measurable outcomes. Your communication skills allow you to regularly update stakeholders on service performance and improvement opportunities.

You are skilled in process optimization, with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies in current workflows. You implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement in service delivery. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with teams across IT, Merchant Operations, Engineering, and more to support the evolving needs of the business.

Desirable

Experience in a technology-driven environment is a plus, as is familiarity with IT asset management and logistics. You may have a background in project management or process improvement methodologies, which will further enhance your ability to lead operations effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the daily execution of all supply chain functions, ensuring that procurement, inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, provisioning, and device deployment are executed efficiently. You will develop and maintain SOPs that promote operational excellence and compliance across all service lines. Monitoring warehouse performance will be a key responsibility, as you ensure adequate staffing coverage and lead problem resolution when disruptions occur.

You will act as the primary interface between the supply chain operation and various internal organizations, gathering business requirements and translating them into operational plans. You will ensure that each partner's needs are met with clear SLAs and measurable outcomes, regularly communicating service updates and performance metrics to stakeholders.

Your role will involve evaluating current workflows to identify inefficiencies and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that the service meets the evolving business needs of DoorDash.
