Samsara is seeking a Public Sector Major Account Executive to drive revenue growth in new and existing major accounts. You'll work remotely from Washington and engage with industries that are critical to the global economy.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, particularly in managing major accounts and driving revenue growth. You understand the importance of the public sector and are passionate about making a real-world impact through technology. You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable managing your time and priorities independently. You are results-driven and have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of large organizations, ensuring that you build strong relationships with key decision-makers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the public sector. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud can help them improve their operations. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop tailored solutions that meet the specific requirements of your clients. You will manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for your clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. You will track your sales activities and report on your progress to the leadership team, using data to inform your strategies and decisions.
