HelloFresh is seeking a Kitchen Lead to support the Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations. You'll ensure food quality and compliance with health standards while coaching kitchen staff. This role requires knowledge of kitchen operations and strong communication skills.
You have experience in kitchen operations and a strong understanding of food safety and quality standards. You possess leadership skills that foster team cooperation among a large group of employees. Your knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Sheets will help you manage kitchen inventories effectively. You have strong written and communication skills, which enable you to convey important information clearly to your team and other departments. Your organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills allow you to prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines. You are adaptable and can follow Factor_ programs and procedures effectively.
As a Kitchen Lead at HelloFresh, you will support the Sous Chef in running daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food prepared meets the highest quality standards. You will coach kitchen employees to follow policies and procedures, helping to maintain a productive and compliant work environment. Your role will involve assisting the Sous Chef in maintaining the security and upkeep of the kitchen, including managing equipment, food, and supply inventories. You will occasionally communicate with other departments, such as Quality or Production, to collaborate and solve problems that arise in the kitchen. Additionally, you will assist the Sous Chef in ensuring that the kitchen operates in accordance with state and federal health and safety codes. Reporting all kitchen issues to your immediate supervisor will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that any concerns are addressed promptly.
