Jamf is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer II to develop and maintain backend infrastructure for the Jamf Cloud. You'll work with automation tools and techniques to support software development and deployment. This role requires experience in infrastructure management and automation.
You have a solid background in DevOps practices, with experience in developing and maintaining production environments. Your expertise in automation and infrastructure management allows you to identify and apply tools and techniques that enhance operational efficiency. You understand the importance of security best practices and integrate them into system designs and configurations. You are skilled in programming and scripting, enabling you to develop custom tools that streamline processes and improve workflows. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with software development teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications in the cloud. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your contributions to the team.
Experience with cloud platforms and services is a plus, as is familiarity with container orchestration tools. You may also have knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems that help maintain the health of production environments. In this role, you will be responsible for the automation and development of backend infrastructure that powers the Jamf Cloud. You will develop, deploy, and maintain production environments, ensuring they are robust and scalable. Your work will involve identifying opportunities for automation and applying best practices in Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code. You will collaborate with software development engineers to provide the internal infrastructure they need to build and deploy Jamf products effectively. Security will be a key focus, as you will ensure that best practices are integrated into system designs and configurations. You will assist in evaluating, planning, and implementing new software services, contributing to the overall success of the Jamf Cloud. Your role will also involve developing custom tools and automation through programming and scripting, enhancing the efficiency of the development process.
