Databricks is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive positive change in the New Zealand Public Sector. You'll help government partners harness the Databricks platform to deliver impactful outcomes. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a results-driven mindset.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the public sector, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with it. Your ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers is key — you know how to tell compelling stories that resonate with stakeholders and inspire action. You are results-driven, always looking for ways to help customers derive maximum value from the platform. Your experience in managing the end-to-end sales cycle equips you to navigate complex sales processes with ease.
You are passionate about digital transformation and have a keen interest in how data and AI can solve real-world problems. You understand the importance of aligning solutions with the digital priorities of government agencies and are adept at identifying strategic opportunities that can drive measurable impact. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate the value of technology in a way that is accessible and engaging.
Experience in the New Zealand public sector is a plus, as is familiarity with data and AI technologies. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering results. A background in technology sales or account management will set you apart, as will any experience in driving initiatives that support sustainability and economic development.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of digital transformation in the New Zealand Public Sector. You will work closely with government partners to help them harness the full power of the Databricks platform. Your primary responsibility will be to drive consumption by identifying key use cases and increasing usage among your clients. You will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement to closing transformative deals.
