Pulselive is seeking a Delivery Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of enhancements to a sporting product used by millions. You'll collaborate with internal teams and clients, utilizing Agile methodologies and Jira for project management. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills.
You have a proven track record in delivery management, ideally with experience in software projects that engage millions of users. You understand the nuances of Agile methodologies and can facilitate ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint planning effectively. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to act as the key point of contact for both internal teams and clients. You are proactive in identifying and managing risks, ensuring that delivery timelines are met without compromising quality. You have a strong understanding of client strategic objectives and can translate these into actionable plans for your team. Your ability to triage issues and communicate effectively during production incidents sets you apart as a reliable team member.
Experience with Jira is a plus, as you will be refining tickets and gathering requirements from both clients and internal teams. Familiarity with fan-facing software or sports products would be beneficial, but not essential. A can-do attitude and a willingness to dive into challenges will help you thrive in this role.
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of small enhancements and maintenance updates to a sporting product that is used by millions of fans globally. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that your team remains aligned and focused on delivering quality enhancements. As the day-to-day point of contact for the client and internal delivery team, you will lead client meetings, both face-to-face and remotely, to gather requirements and provide updates on progress. You will be responsible for the first line triage of issues and requests raised by the client, utilizing your expert knowledge of our products to resolve them efficiently. Your role will also involve refining Jira tickets end-to-end, ensuring that requirements are clearly documented and ready for development. You will spot and escalate delivery risks to senior and program leads, managing dependencies between internal products and external integrations with input from technical leads. Your proactive approach will help you identify opportunities for improvement and drive the team towards successful delivery.
We offer a competitive salary range of £46,000 - £76,000 for this 6-month fixed-term contract position.
