DoorDash USA is hiring a Regional Merchant Lead to drive sales and build relationships with local and regional restaurant partners. You'll own the full sales cycle and work closely with merchants to help them grow their business. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to travel within the region.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in building relationships and driving revenue growth. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with a transactional sales approach. Your ability to connect with local businesses and understand their needs is key to your success. You are adaptable and can manage your time effectively between in-field meetings and remote work. You are motivated by results and enjoy the challenge of meeting sales targets.
Experience in the food delivery or restaurant industry is a plus, as is familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems. You have a knack for negotiation and can effectively communicate the value of partnerships. A background in outside sales or business development will help you excel in this role.
As a Regional Merchant Lead, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals with restaurant partners. You will spend a significant portion of your time in the field, meeting with restaurant owners and pitching DoorDash’s offerings. Your role will involve negotiating revenue share agreements and selling multi-product solutions that benefit local merchants. You will build strong relationships with your partners, helping them understand how DoorDash can enhance their business operations and drive consumer growth.
You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that the needs of your partners are met and that they receive the support necessary to succeed. Your ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth will be crucial in expanding DoorDash’s merchant partnerships in your region.
