GHJ is seeking an AP/AR Manager to oversee billing, collections, vendor payments, and cash flow activities. This role requires strong organizational skills and experience in financial management. You'll work closely with accounting leadership in a collaborative environment.
You have over 3 years of progressive experience in accounts payable and receivable management, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial processes and compliance. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. You have experience leading teams and are comfortable providing training and development to support staff. Your ability to improve processes as the business scales is a key strength, and you enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve financial accuracy and timeliness.
As the AP/AR Manager, you will lead and manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations. You will maintain accurate customer and vendor aging schedules and cash application records, partnering with operations on billing schedules and contract terms. Implementing and maintaining internal controls, policies, and procedures around AP/AR workflows will be a critical part of your role. You will monitor cash flow and support weekly cash forecasting, resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise. Additionally, you will assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations, while preparing AP/AR reporting for leadership. Your role will also involve supporting system enhancements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
