This job is for you if:
You are a technical leader who thrives in hands-on delivery and complex implementations.
You enjoy mentoring and guiding Senior Engineers and influencing technical standards.
You act as the technical escalation point for delivery challenges and drive best practices.
You’re comfortable driving discovery and design (typically time-boxed to two weeks) when Lead Architect is unavailable.
You want to set technical standards and influence delivery frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Lead implementation and validation of platform components across complex client environments.
Mentor and guide Senior Implementation Engineers; foster technical growth and best practices.
Act as technical escalation point for delivery challenges and high-impact projects.
Drive installations, configuration, and performance validation for critical client engagements.
Lead troubleshooting and optimization during delivery milestones; facilitate client Q&A sessions.
Drive discovery and design (targeted, time-boxed exercise) when Lead Architect is unavailable.
Collaborate with Lead Architect and participate in architecture review board (ARB) and peer reviews.
Set technical standards and delivery frameworks; develop reusable assets and best practice documentation.
Maintain expertise in cloud-native architectures, DevOps, and security practices.
Influence product direction and contribute to ongoing improvement of delivery methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience in technical delivery; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in solution implementation, integration engineering, or technical delivery within complex enterprise environments, including leadership of large-scale projects.
Expert-level proficiency in Python, with fluency in at least one additional programming language (e.g., Java, C#).
Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and multiple NoSQL systems (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
Mastery of integration frameworks and tools, including RESTful/SOAP APIs, ETL platforms, and data movement/transformation technologies.
Deep expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, advanced containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) across multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
Demonstrated multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), including infrastructure, database management, and API integration.
Advanced Linux administration, shell scripting, and production troubleshooting.
Proven skill in designing, optimizing, and managing complex data architectures, including modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and scalable data lakes/lakehouses.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
Hands-on experience guiding customer teams through installation, configuration, and validation of enterprise software solutions.
Experience mentoring and developing technical talent; proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
Ability to operate autonomously across multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% for client engagements and project delivery needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Cloud certifications at Professional/Expert level (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Kubernetes certification (CKA) strongly preferred.
Infrastructure-as-code certification (e.g., Terraform) a plus.
Successful delivery of integration-intensive projects in complex enterprise environments.
Proven ability to design secure, scalable architectures aligned with enterprise security standards and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with Protegrity’s packaged delivery framework and key milestones (ESA, DSG, Protector).
Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles, data protection regulations, and secure SDLC methodologies.
Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and influencing technical strategy.
