You'll leverage your technical expertise to manage project schedules and communicate with cross-functional partners. This role requires 8+ years of program management experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 8 years of experience in program management. Your background includes 5 years of experience specifically in program management or planning for data center infrastructure and real estate development. You are skilled in developing data-driven technical insights and translating them into executable commercial solutions, with a strong understanding of data centers or other critical infrastructure in areas such as supply planning, site development, construction, design, or engineering.

You have a proven track record of managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, demonstrating excellent planning and communication management skills in a leadership role. You are adept at creating project plans that break down work into discrete phases and managing dependencies effectively. You understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all stakeholders, and you are committed to building products that create opportunities for everyone.

What you'll do

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, utilizing your technical expertise to guide teams through complex challenges. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules, ensuring clear communication with cross-functional partners across the organization. You will be comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives while also discussing technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In your role, you will define and manage a program portfolio that addresses high business impact problems for the organization and product area. You will develop optimal multi-year supply plans and communicate resulting resource requirements and investment signals to key suppliers and execution partners, advocating for optimal planning outcomes. Your ability to navigate complex project landscapes will be crucial in ensuring alignment across various teams and driving successful project execution.

What we offer

At Google, you will be part of a team that values innovation and collaboration. You will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape the future of data center infrastructure and real estate development. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe diverse teams build better products. Join us in creating solutions that empower individuals and organizations around the globe.
