You have a Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, or engineering, and at least 5 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems. Your coding skills in Python, R, and SQL are strong, and you are adept at querying databases and performing statistical analysis. You have experience with ETL tools and conducting root cause analysis, which allows you to tackle complex data challenges effectively.
With a proven track record of supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or quality analytics, you understand the importance of data in driving business decisions. You are comfortable working with large datasets and have experience in developing scalable data tools and advanced dashboards. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify trends and insights that can lead to significant improvements in quality and efficiency.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies. Your communication skills allow you to convey complex data insights to stakeholders clearly and effectively. You are passionate about continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance processes through data analysis.
You have 8 years of experience in analytics, which includes a deep understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and experience in gathering, extracting, and compiling data across various sources. Your familiarity with telemetry data and customer sentiment analysis further enhances your ability to inform design improvements and drive quality initiatives.
In this role, you will be part of the Central Operations Analytics team at Google, where your mission will be to improve quality and manufacturing through data-driven decision making. You will own the strategy and development of scalable data tools, prototyping GenAI, and leading analytics to solve critical business problems. Your work will involve analyzing telemetry data and customer sentiment to quantify its impact on quality and inform design improvements.
You will gather, extract, and compile data across various sources using relevant tools such as SQL, R, and Python. Your responsibilities will include formatting, restructuring, and validating data to ensure its quality. You will conduct root cause analysis and support manufacturing and supply chain analytics, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Your role will also involve collaborating with other teams to develop algorithms that govern quality return rates forecast. You will lead initiatives that leverage data to drive continuous improvement and enhance decision-making processes across the organization. Your insights will be crucial in shaping strategies that impact product quality and operational excellence.
Google offers a competitive salary range for this full-time position, with a base salary between $166,000 and $244,000, along with bonuses, equity, and benefits.
