The Communications PA administrative role provides support to the management team in a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for communications, have a high level of flexibility, commitment and the ability to tackle ambiguity.
Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for communications, have a high level of flexibility, commitment and the ability to tackle ambiguity.
· Write and edit content for all employee communication throughout the fulfillment center including but not limited to: newsletters, table toppers, weather, overtime, events and any urgent communications
· Speak in front of large crowds
· Update communication boards and TVs throughout the fulfillment center
· Track and manage the Voice of the Associate boards
· Plan and execute associate and community events
· Liaison with departments across the fulfillment center
· Communicate orientation time for staffing agency new hires
· Additional responsibilities as needed
· Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
· Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Ability to communicate effectively and understand audience
· High level of awareness and interest in employee engagement
· Experience managing multiple projects
· A relentless approach to details
· Strong organizational skills
· Must be able to work independently
· Must adhere to confidentiality expectations
· A self-starter and effective problem solver
· Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
· Strong knowledge of operations throughout the building
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- High school or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required- 1+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $46,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $57,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
