What you'll do

In this role, you will spearhead the design and implementation of SoFi's internal developer platform, a critical component of the company's technology strategy. You will collaborate closely with engineering leaders across the organization to enhance the developer experience, enabling teams to build and deliver high-quality products at high velocity. Your responsibilities will include defining the architecture of the developer platform, ensuring it meets the needs of various engineering teams while maintaining scalability and reliability.

You will also be responsible for driving the adoption of best practices in cloud infrastructure and platform development — this includes evaluating new technologies and tools that can improve the developer experience. You will work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development plans, ensuring alignment with SoFi's overall technology strategy.

Your role will involve mentoring and guiding other engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged. You will participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code is being produced. Additionally, you will monitor the performance of the developer platform and make recommendations for improvements based on user feedback and performance metrics.
