Google is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for their Gaming division to drive cloud computing solutions. You'll leverage your experience in B2B software sales and account management to build partnerships and influence C-level executives. This role requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your 5 years of experience selling cloud computing solutions have equipped you with the skills to navigate complex sales cycles and understand customer needs deeply. You have a proven track record of growing existing customer bases and acquiring new logos at scale, demonstrating your ability to increase spend and accelerate consumption business. Your experience working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads allows you to effectively inventory existing software estates, define migration plans, and build compelling business cases for migrations. You excel at cultivating and maintaining C-level relationships, which enables you to build partnerships and promote cloud solutions effectively. You are comfortable influencing at the executive level and leading cross-functional internal teams, including Business Development, Customer Engineers, and Partner Sales, in implementation projects and negotiations.
In this role, you will play a key part in understanding the needs of Google Cloud's customers and shaping business growth opportunities. You will work cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners to maximize business impact within enterprise customers. Managing business cycles will be a critical part of your responsibilities, as you will present to C-level executives and negotiate terms that align with both customer needs and Google Cloud's objectives. You will drive business development initiatives, own operational excellence at scale, and forecast accurately to achieve your goals. Your ability to lead customers through the entire business cycle will be essential in ensuring successful implementations and long-term partnerships. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them, ensuring that Google Cloud remains a leader in the gaming sector.
