Smartsheet is seeking a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver technical training programs for their Customer Excellence Teams. This role requires strong communication skills and technical expertise to enhance the skills of team members.
You are an enthusiastic Technical Trainer with a strong background in developing and delivering technical training curricula. You possess solid technical aptitude and are extremely knowledgeable in your field of expertise. Your excellent communication skills enable you to explain complex subjects clearly and engagingly, helping others develop their technical skills to meet organizational needs. Experience in creating hands-on exercises and assessments for training programs is a plus. Familiarity with various training methodologies and tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking ways to improve training materials and delivery methods.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, preparing, delivering, and evaluating technical training programs for the Customer Excellence Teams at Smartsheet. You will outline and coordinate documentation and materials to be used in programs, ensuring that they are comprehensive and user-friendly. You will design exercises that enhance lectures and conduct classes that include hands-on exercises to reinforce learning. Additionally, you will develop, maintain, and improve exams and quizzes utilized in all training courses, ensuring they effectively assess the knowledge and skills of participants.
You will collaborate closely with the Manager of CE Learning and other stakeholders to align training programs with organizational goals. Your role will involve gathering feedback from participants to continuously improve the training experience and outcomes. You will also stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical training to ensure that Smartsheet remains at the forefront of training excellence.
