Role Requirements
- Investigate suspicious buyer activity and behavior that could pose a risk to Amazon, our buyers, or merchants.
- Maintain Amazon's site quality by enforcing Amazon's Policy Guidelines.
- Be aware of and identify new fraud patterns and trends. Take appropriate action to identify and minimize the risk posed by such trends.
- Experienced in the internet space and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment.
- Participate in other special projects/assignments as necessary.
- Work with all areas of the business to resolve issues affecting financial, legal and reputational risk.
- Achieve weekly productivity and quality standards for investigations.

- Be prepared to be flexible with working hours and work Saturdays and/or Sundays.


A day in the life
Investigation Specialists are responsible for evaluating high-risk transactions and safeguarding Amazon's global customer base, profitability, and brand while maintaining a high bar of customer experience. They investigate suspicious activity and behaviors that could pose a risk to Amazon, our customers, or merchants. Investigation Specialists are expert communicators and problem solvers obsessed with customer success. They have a passion for proficiency, and efficiently navigate formal and informal channels to advocate on the customer’s behalf. They take full ownership of their functional issues and offer high quality solutions and they are the champion for proactive improvements. The Investigation Specialists are technically competent, self-motivated individuals with the objective to deliver sustainable results that improve the customer experience.
Daily activities consist in the investigation in different processes that is required to provide and ensure the best customer experience with the following requirements:
• Resolve around 100+ tasks on a daily basis, following processes and procedures from SOPs that required fast and easy adaptation to changes/updates.
• Fast adaptability to continues process changes, procedures and SOPs.
• Capability to self-evaluate and continues improvement in daily tasks.
• Adaptability to different tools offered by the business.
• Minimum supervision, capability of performing tasks on their own, the ability to work independently is essential as well as demonstrates ownership
• Critical thinking and analytical skills to identify patterns and behaviors
- 6+ months of customer service experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Experience in payments or e-commerce- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
