Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in game development, particularly with Unity, and have successfully launched and operated mobile games. Your strong understanding of C# programming allows you to implement complex gameplay logic effectively. You possess logical thinking skills that enable you to analyze and solve gameplay-related challenges. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with various teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals. You are open to international travel, which is essential for this role as it may involve collaboration with global teams.

Desirable

Experience with C/C++ project development is a plus, as it enhances your versatility in programming. Familiarity with the Addressables Asset system and its development will give you an edge in optimizing game performance. Additionally, having knowledge of mobile environment optimization techniques in Unity will be beneficial for ensuring a smooth gaming experience.

What you'll do

As a Senior Client Programmer at Krafton, you will be responsible for implementing systems and content based on the Unity engine. You will work closely with the development team from the launch phase through to live operations, ensuring that the game meets high-quality standards. Your role will involve designing and coding gameplay features, optimizing performance for mobile platforms, and ensuring cross-platform compatibility. You will also participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

You will engage in regular communication with other departments, including design and art, to ensure that the game vision is realized effectively. Your contributions will directly impact the player experience, and you will be expected to iterate on feedback to enhance gameplay. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise during development and post-launch.
