Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Multimodal - AI Teams(x/f/m)

Who you are

You have a Ph.D. or MSc in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Medicine, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering. Your expertise includes developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly in healthcare applications. You are skilled in Python and have hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. You understand the nuances of working with multimodal data, including text, vision, and voice, and can reason through complex clinical scenarios. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with engineers and healthcare professionals to drive innovation. You are comfortable leading experiments and reporting results, and you have a strong understanding of model evaluation and benchmarking.

Desirable

Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning techniques is a plus. Familiarity with ML ops practices and deployment strategies will help you succeed in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will design an evaluation framework and prepare datasets for various tasks, ensuring that the data is suitable for training and testing models. You will benchmark baseline models against both open-source and proprietary models to identify performance gaps and areas for improvement. Your strategic thinking will guide the development of models that meet performance targets, and you will lead experiments to validate your approaches. Collaborating closely with the ML platform team, you will deploy your models into production, ensuring they are robust and scalable. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the machine learning team at Doctolib.
