You are proactive in documenting findings and providing actionable recommendations that align with business objectives.

Desirable

Experience with security frameworks and tools, particularly OWASP, is a plus. Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations will enhance your ability to partner with other security sub-teams effectively. A background in software development can also be beneficial, as it allows you to better support developers in implementing security best practices.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between the Security Engineering team and development teams for security reviews. You will support developers in understanding and implementing secure design practices, ensuring that security findings are communicated clearly and effectively. Your collaborative approach will help maintain consistency across security initiatives by partnering with other security sub-teams, such as compliance and infrastructure.

You will perform comprehensive security reviews of applications and services developed across SpaceX, evaluating their architecture and data handling processes. Your insights will help identify potential vulnerabilities and guide teams in mitigating risks. You will document your findings in a way that is actionable and aligned with business objectives, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

Your role will also involve building productive relationships with stakeholders across SpaceX, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into the development process without hindering delivery timelines. You will work closely with various teams to promote a shared responsibility for security and encourage best practices.
