Job Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum..
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO expert who combines strong functional and technical expertise to support Project Kuiper initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions across different organizations.

Key job responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of projects related to SAP FICO module from design to deployment including integration with Amazon Corporate systems.
Build deployment project plans and manage risks impacting successful delivery.
Develop use cases by gathering business requirements, work with software development to build required features, clearly communicate dependencies and manage/track exceptions.
Participate and build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to ensure proposed solution can meet business requirements using SAP S/4.
Active participation in Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and User Training.
Apply strong knowledge of the business processes for designing, developing, and testing SAP S/4 HANA ERP functionality, which includes expertise in general ledger, accounts payable, project system, cost center accounting, product cost controlling and profit center accounting.
Configure SAP S/4 HANA FICO to meet business requirements, including connection points with PP, MM, PS, & SD and other modules and implementation of SAP best practices.
Have an ability to navigate through a large amount of ambiguity and drive consensus between cross-functional stakeholder groups.
Demonstrate crisp communication skills, have experience communicating project status to a broad audience and be willing to follow appropriate escalation channels to ensure delivery as planned.
Expertise and in-depth knowledge of Make-to-Order & Order-to-Cash processes.
Experience with SAP Material Actual Costing and Project Billing systems.
Solid organizational skills along with an aptitude for information technology.

Validate and provide business user trainings.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a functional analyst, or in a related role working with SAP FICO.
- 3+ years deep configuration experience in General Ledger, AP & AR, Actual Costing, Project Systems .
- 3+ years experience with Agile, Scrum, and software development methodologies and tools.- SAP S/4 HANA certified implementation consultant in Finance and Controlling
- Working experience with SAP S/4 HANA On-prem & RISE
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
