Overview

Microsoft is hiring a Supply Chain Program Manager to oversee the Cloud Supply Chain organization. You'll be responsible for enabling hardware infrastructure and ensuring efficient supply chain management. This role requires experience in supply chain functions and operations.

Who you are

You have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in traditional functions such as planning, sourcing, making, and delivering. Your expertise extends to managing supportability, sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

You understand the complexities of supply chain operations in a cloud environment and are adept at optimizing costs while maintaining high performance. Your analytical skills allow you to provide accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally within the organization.

You are a collaborative team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to drive initiatives that support Microsoft's mission of delivering cloud and AI capabilities at scale. Your communication skills enable you to articulate strategies and engage stakeholders effectively.

Desirable

Experience with cloud infrastructure and AI technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with managing large-scale supply chain operations. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on strategic goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead initiatives within the Cloud Supply Chain organization, ensuring that the hardware infrastructure supports Microsoft's expanding cloud business. You will be responsible for overseeing supply chain functions, including planning, sourcing, and delivery, while also managing sustainability efforts and the lifecycle of datacenter assets.

You will collaborate with various teams to optimize supply chain performance, prevent unplanned investments, and ensure reliable, on-time delivery of services. Your role will involve analyzing data to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

You will also be tasked with developing strategies that align with Microsoft's vision of empowering customers through innovative cloud solutions. This includes identifying opportunities for smart growth and high efficiency within the supply chain.
