Google is seeking a CAD ATE Engineer to develop and enhance ATE test methodologies and tools. You'll work with Electrical Engineering and software test engineering to innovate hardware solutions. This role requires 5+ years of industry experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5 years of industry experience focused on high-performance systems and debugging. Your expertise includes ATE tools, flows, and methodologies, and you are well-versed in code and system health, diagnosis, and resolution. You have a strong background in ATE test development, covering everything from DFT/Design Verification to ATE patterns, including Reset, Automatic Test Pattern Generation, and Memory Built-In Self Test. Your understanding of both object-oriented and functional programming complements your excellent software skills and design practices, allowing you to contribute effectively to innovative projects.
You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to push boundaries in developing custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products. Your technical expertise enables you to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively. You are committed to ensuring best practices in software development, including style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency. You also have experience in contributing to documentation and educational content, adapting it based on user feedback and product updates.
Experience in ATE test method library development, particularly in taking ATE low-level drivers and creating automated solutions, would be a significant advantage. You are someone who enjoys tackling complex challenges and is motivated by the impact of your work on hardware, network, and service operations.
As a CAD ATE Engineer at Google, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions that contribute to the innovation of hardware experiences.
