Qonto is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to enhance their fraud detection capabilities. You'll work with Python, TensorFlow, and AWS to develop and deploy machine learning models. This role requires significant experience in machine learning and data analysis.
You are a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in developing and deploying machine learning models. With at least 5 years of experience in the field, you have a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures, and you are proficient in Python and its machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow and Keras. You have experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, which allows you to efficiently deploy your models in a scalable manner. Your analytical skills enable you to derive insights from complex datasets, and you are comfortable working with SQL for data manipulation and retrieval. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working alongside other engineers to solve challenging problems.
Experience with fraud detection systems or security applications is a plus. Familiarity with additional programming languages such as R or Java would be beneficial. You are also encouraged to bring your unique perspective to the team, contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
In this role, you will join Qonto's Fraud Security team, where your primary mission will be to elevate the company's fraud detection capabilities. You will collaborate with other experienced ML Engineers to create, deploy, and train powerful machine learning models that ensure the security of Qonto's clients' assets. Your work will involve analyzing transaction data to identify patterns and anomalies that could indicate fraudulent activity. You will be responsible for designing experiments to test the effectiveness of your models and iterating on them based on performance metrics. Additionally, you will communicate your findings and insights to stakeholders, helping to shape the company's approach to fraud prevention.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. As part of a dynamic team, you will participate in regular brainstorming sessions to explore new ideas and approaches to enhance the fraud detection process. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and trust of Qonto's services, making a significant difference in the lives of SMEs across Europe.
