DoorDash is seeking a Legal Compliance Operations Manager to enhance operational efficiency within the Legal Department. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with legal standards and drive operational excellence. This role requires strong organizational and project management skills.
You are a meticulous and organized individual with a strong background in legal operations. You thrive in environments where you can manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously, ensuring that all operations adhere to legal and regulatory standards. You have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and possess excellent communication skills that allow you to convey complex legal concepts clearly. You are a self-starter who enjoys building efficient operational processes and can easily oscillate between strategic considerations and tactical execution. You understand the importance of data in driving operational excellence and are comfortable working with legal data engineering teams to create queries and analyze metrics.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Legal Compliance Operations function. You will work closely with the Legal Data Engineering team to create and refine Sigma queries that support compliance requirements. You will design operational processes that align with new compliance mandates and lead project status meetings with legal counsel to ensure that all initiatives are on track. You will also create kick-off decks for cross-functional technology initiatives, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Your role will involve reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) and legal order processing metrics to identify areas for improvement and operational efficiency. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Legal Operations and play a key role in scaling the Legal Department to support DoorDash's fast-growing business.
