Overview

Astranis is seeking a Senior Hardware/Production Test Software Engineer to design high-level software architecture for vehicle integration and test operations. You'll collaborate with engineering teams and develop software for automated testing. This role requires expertise in C, C++, and Python.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in hardware and software testing, with a strong background in designing and implementing test plans for complex systems. Your expertise in C, C++, and Python allows you to develop robust test automation solutions that ensure the reliability of critical flight components. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, engaging with electrical engineers and other teams to refine specifications and validate components.

You possess a deep understanding of Linux systems and have experience with automated testing frameworks. Your analytical skills enable you to troubleshoot issues effectively, and you are adept at using various testing tools to enhance the testing process. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality results.

Desirable

Experience with satellite systems or aerospace engineering is a plus, as is familiarity with ground control operations. You are passionate about innovation and eager to contribute to projects that expand humanity's reach into the solar system.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing high-level software architecture to support vehicle integration and test operations.
