HelloFresh is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage the end-to-end supply of high-quality ingredients for the Protein Category. You'll optimize supply chain operations and work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. This role requires strong organizational skills and experience in managing complex supplier networks.
You have a proactive and organized approach to managing a complex network of suppliers and perishable goods. Ideally, you have experience owning a complex category, preferably in fresh food or short shelf life, and are familiar with supply chains involving multiple suppliers. You are adept at building relationships with suppliers and possess strong communication skills to ensure on-time deliveries. Your analytical mindset allows you to assemble and report on data related to supplier performance, using insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives. You are detail-oriented and capable of managing inventory effectively to minimize waste while ensuring supply.
As the Supply Chain Planner for the Protein Category at HelloFresh, you will be responsible for managing the weekly supply of ingredients to ensure customers receive high-quality products on time. You will own the end-to-end ordering process, becoming the expert on all operational concerns for your ingredient category. Your role will involve working cross-functionally with other teams in the supply chain to continuously optimize the supply setup. You will closely collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time, on-spec deliveries and proactively follow up on any shortages or missed deliveries. Regular visits to the production site will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to communicate with production teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will assist with accurate cost reporting and invoice validation, ensuring that all processes run smoothly.
This is a permanent full-time role with a hybrid working environment based in Penrose, Auckland.
