Google is seeking a Mid-Level Data Analyst for their Trust and Safety Ad Traffic team to analyze data and prevent fraud. You'll work with SQL and advanced data analysis techniques. This role requires 2+ years of experience in data analysis.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 2 years of experience in data analysis, where you've identified trends and generated summary statistics. Your experience includes working with SQL, allowing you to manipulate and analyze data effectively. You possess a quantitative mindset and are skilled in problem-solving, capable of translating insights into actionable business strategies. Your background includes data management, metrics analysis, and experiment design, which are crucial for this role. You understand classification and ranking systems, and you have experience synthesizing data from various sources. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating insights to stakeholders at multiple levels.

What you'll do

As part of the Trust and Safety Ad Traffic Quality team, you will analyze billions of events to develop scalable methods to combat fraud. You will dive deep into advanced data analysis techniques to prevent abuse and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Legal stakeholders. Your role will involve performing analysis and investigations using diverse data sources, taking enforcement actions to identify and mitigate fraud on Google's ad products. You will partner with Engineering to drive full life-cycle projects aimed at improving policies and closing product vulnerabilities. Your work will help protect millions of advertiser dollars and ensure a safe and useful internet experience for users, advertisers, and publishers alike.
