You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in building relationships with local businesses. Your experience includes managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a direct impact on revenue. You are comfortable working independently and enjoy the challenge of meeting with restaurant owners to introduce them to new opportunities. You understand the importance of negotiation and can effectively communicate the value of partnerships to potential clients. You are adaptable and willing to travel within your region to meet clients and collaborate with your team. Experience in the food delivery or restaurant industry is a plus, as is familiarity with sales strategies that drive growth in small to medium-sized businesses. You may also have experience with CRM tools and data analysis to track your sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
As a Regional Merchant Lead, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new restaurant partners to DoorDash. This involves conducting market research to identify potential clients, reaching out to them, and scheduling meetings to present DoorDash's offerings. You will negotiate revenue share agreements and work closely with restaurant owners to ensure they understand how partnering with DoorDash can enhance their business. Your role will require you to spend a significant amount of time in the field, meeting with merchants and building strong relationships. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partners and provide ongoing support to help them succeed on the platform. You will track your sales performance and report on key metrics to your management team, continuously seeking ways to improve your approach and drive results.
