SpaceX is seeking a Senior Cyber Assurance Analyst to ensure systems meet security, regulatory, and compliance obligations. You'll work closely with engineers and be hands-on in validating controls and managing risks. This role requires a strong understanding of security frameworks and best practices.
You have a strong background in cyber assurance, with experience in ensuring that systems, products, and processes meet security, regulatory, and compliance obligations. You thrive at the intersection of security, compliance, and emerging technology, and you enjoy digging into configurations and logs to understand complex requirements. You are comfortable explaining security frameworks and best practices to non-technical teams, demonstrating your ability to communicate effectively across different audiences. You excel at managing concurrent complex efforts and flourish in an environment where continuous learning is encouraged. Your hands-on experience includes collecting and reviewing evidence, driving efficiencies, and supporting remediation efforts.
Experience with various security frameworks and compliance standards is a plus, as is familiarity with technical support for enterprise systems. You are adaptable and can consider alternative approaches to problem-solving, ensuring that you can move projects forward effectively. Your ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other stakeholders is essential, as you will be validating that controls are in place and risks are managed effectively.
In this role, you will operate within the Information Assurance team at SpaceX, working closely with engineers to understand how controls are implemented in systems. You will be responsible for validating that security measures are in place and that risks are managed appropriately. Your hands-on approach will involve collecting and reviewing evidence to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements. You will drive efficiencies in processes and support remediation efforts as needed. Additionally, you will provide technical support for both Enterprise and Launch systems, ensuring that all systems meet the necessary security standards. Your role will require you to stay updated on emerging technologies and security best practices, allowing you to provide informed guidance to your team and the organization.
