Axon is hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop features for their camera products. You'll work with technologies like Embedded Linux, C, and C++. This role requires strong system design skills and experience in device software development.
You have 5+ years of experience in embedded software engineering, with a strong focus on developing high-stability and performance-critical applications. Your expertise in C and C++ allows you to write efficient and reliable code for embedded systems. You are familiar with Embedded Linux and have a passion for working with the latest open-source technologies. Your ability to empathize with customers enables you to create innovative solutions that address their needs effectively. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and take pride in helping them grow their skills and confidence in the field.
Experience with camera systems or similar devices is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment. A background in system design and architecture will be beneficial as you make critical technical decisions.
