Join us in revolutionizing the grocery industry while making a meaningful impact on people and our planet. We're seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer to design and build scalable, high-impact solutions within Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores Tech (WWGST) organization.

What You'll Do:
• Design and deploy distributed systems that operate at Amazon's massive scale
• Work with core technologies including Java, Linux, and AWS services
• Tackle complex technical challenges while collaborating across Amazon and Whole Foods Market teams
• Drive technical vision and architecture decisions
• Lead performance monitoring and optimization initiatives
• Contribute to our engineering community's growth through knowledge sharing and mentorship

Join us if you're ready to build large-scale applications with a talented team of engineers who are passionate about technology and positive change.- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
