As an Platform Engineer at Langdock, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the backbone of our enterprise AI platform. In this full-time, on-site position at our Berlin headquarters, you’ll contribute to our deployment infrastructure and lead integrations with customer cloud environments. You’ll work hands-on with the latest cloud and container technologies, ensuring our platform runs reliably and securely for some of Europe’s top enterprises.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud operations, automation, and supporting real-world AI deployments at scale. You’ll be responsible for deploying our platform to customer clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift), automating infrastructure with modern tools, and collaborating directly with customer IT teams. Native-level or B2 German language skills are required, as you’ll frequently communicate with customers, whose primary language is sometimes German.
Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment
Deploy and maintain our platform across multiple customer cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, OpenShift)
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure costs
Ensure security and compliance across different cloud environments
Collaborate with Product Engineers to support new feature deployments
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
Document deployment processes and maintain runbooks for different environments
2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and deployments
Strong knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
Strong experience with at least one of the major cloud providers: AWS, GCP or Azure
Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or similar tools (Bicep, CloudFormation)
CI/CD pipeline development with GitHub Actions or similar platforms
Command-line proficiency
Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments
Fluent English and B2 German for technical documentation and customer communication
Enterprise deployment experience with security, compliance, and multi-tenancy requirements
Experience with Azure Container Apps and Azure-specific services
Monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Application Insights
Database administration experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
Experience with secrets management tools like HashiCorp Vault, or cloud-native solutions
Tech Stack: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Azure Container Apps, GitHub Actions, PostgreSQL, Redis
Weeks 1-2: Onboarding and familiarization with our infrastructure setup and deployment processes
Weeks 3-6: Work on smaller infrastructure tasks and shadow experienced engineers on customer deployments
Week 6+: Own infrastructure projects, customer cloud deployments, and CI/CD pipeline improvements
